Overview of the Castle from the Tower
Shakespeare's Birthplace. Look from outside.

"O noble fool! A worthy fool!" --As You Like It
(a character from one of Shakespeare's plays, No Fear Shakespeare)
After Oxford, went to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of Shakespeare; And Warwick Castle, a medieval castle since 1068.

As the name implies, Stratford-upon-Avon is a town that lies on the River Avon. Stratford is in Warwickshire with a population around 26,000, southeast of Birmingham and southwest of Warwick. The most recognizable tourist point of this town is poet William Shakespeare's birthplace. It is a shame that I did not get in to look around his birthplace due to holiday schedules. I must come back once again!

Another landmark in Warwickshire is the Warwick Castle. This castle is built by William the Conqueror (the first Norman King of England) in 1068. William the Conqueror later marched to York and Nottingham and also built castles there. In 1978 the Castle was bought by the Tussauds Group for a tourist site.  The Tussauds group spent over £6 million in restoring the castle and developing the programmes for visitors.
