Day 4's two main destination, Edinburgh and York.
Last night we stayed at a hotel near Glasgow, this morning we headed to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland and the second largest city (by population) in the UK after Glasgow.
Edinburgh is such a lovely city.
We walked on Princes Street, where most retails locate at in city centre of Edinburgh. Since it was a week after Christmas and they still had the Christmas market out, as well as the big ferris wheel at the Christmas market.
Later we went to Edinburgh Castle. I was really impressed by the size of it and the details inside the castles. There are different small castles within the Edinburgh Castle. They each contain their own exhibition such as art gallery or museum of some sort. Find out more here http://www.edinburghcastle.gov.uk/
After Edinburgh we took a long bus ride back down to England. The weather was lovely and I saw many greens, farming and sheeps on the way. Early evening we arrived York and visited the York Minster.
York Minster is one of the biggest cathedral in England. Full name of York Minster is "The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St. Peter in York." It is a great architecture to study from and it has got terrific historical stories behind it. I only regret that I did not have enough time to stay longer because the Minster was almost closing by the time I got there. Find out more about it before you visit it! http://www.yorkminster.org/home.html
